Googlephrasewhacks

Recently I've been noticing common-sounding phrases that google comes up surprisingly empty on, or at least phrases which I think should be more common than they are (according to google). These coinages aren't necessarily proper googlewhacks, but it's a similar idea. They're generally pages which make you think "What, no-one's said that ever?!". (A less self-congratulatory explanation of this page would be "My friends are funny!" ...actually, that's quite self-congratulatory too, isn't it.)

• "job security through obscurity" -- 200-ish hits (Alistair, Oct 2005)
• "when words elide" -- (unintentional) whack! (24 Sep 2004)
• "google it and weep" -- no hits (15 August 2004)
• "Perl Considered Harmful" (The fact that Python is currently outdoing Perl here is insane) -- whack! (13 March 2003)
• "state machines considered harmful" -- whack ! (pdf) (10 February 2006, also contains "cache as cache can"!)
• "hideously secure" -- whack! (13 March 2003) (Mark)
